Woodhouse Lager Beer. So I find myself with a Woodie in my hand. They say a woodie in the hand is worth two in the bush although I would think the opposite to be true.
Time to clean up this review a bit.
Great looking pour. This lager has a good head on its shoulders which stayed until the end. Produced those rings around the glass that enabled me to calculate my speed of quaff. Nice deep colour, not amber but not far off. And the taste test? Great flavour, easy drinking and very refreshing. It was so good it temporarily cured my crankiness.
Just as the name would imply, nothing fancy here, just a great straight forward lager beer. This is a good example of what craft brewing is all about. More flavourful than your run of the mill lagers but at the same time easy drinking. Well done Woodhouse.
I hope everyone enjoys their Woodie as much as I enjoyed mine last night!
