Is a red ale the poor (or pour) cousin of an amber? Is calling a red ale Ember false advertising? Or am I just easily confused? If you answered yes to all of the above you are probably right.
It may be unfair to compare a red to an amber, but who ever said life was fair? I found this to taste like a watered down amber. Ok flavour, but seemed to have a weak texture/feel which didn’t make it easy drinking, it just made it feeling wanting, like something was missing. Not a summer suds, not a cold weather cockle warmer, not really a fit for anytime of year.
