This beer disappointed me. Although I only drank it after I had already consumed a really good IPA that had a lot of flavour, so I feel like this has likely contributed to my impression. My mouth was already stoked with full flavours and then this pilsner brought me down. I should have tried it without the IPA competition.
Amber in colour, there is a maltiness to the taste that is quite good. Refreshing, but with some sort of aftertaste that I didn’t like. I can’t put my finger on it and it could well be the lingering effects of my earlier IPA.
There is a decent malt flavour and it is an easy drinking brew, but left a bad taste in my mouth.
