For those who are not in to all the flavours craft beers have these days and are wistfully remembering a time when a beer came in two types – Lager or Ale, this could be your ticket. This is a clean, clear lager that is easy drinking. IBU is 14 which is pretty tame and the flavour matches. Nothing wrong with this brew at all. The label states it is part of the “session series” which makes sense. This would be a beer that will quench your thirst on a summer day with lower alcohol and just a straightforward taste with nothing fancy.
Another solid offering from Cowbell Brewery. These are the folks way out in Blyth Ontario where I’m guessing there are few distractions from the beer. A bonus feature has the dance steps for a shindig laid out right on the can. I won’t be taking advantage of that feature – but I wouldn’t hesitate to reach for another when the weather gets hot.
