I can think of one Pacific dream, how about Vancouver Canuck fans hoping for a Pacific Division playoff run. May the odds be ever in your favour. This year even a Hunger Game pledge has a better chance of survival! *
Stockyards has different pacific dreams in mind with a hammock bound west coaster in the shade of beach palms with a brew in hand being swayed by the gentle ocean breezes. Count me in.
This brew pours a deep golden west coast sunset, a nice white bright head in the clouds. A lazy hazy pour. A hoppy juicy aroma wafting in off the coast. A fresh mild fruit body with a hoppy bitter backstop. A grapefruit bitter or is it pine? Could it be both? What are the odds? It does have a pine bitter aftertaste which goes with the finish nicely. Bring the zing! Mild fruit funk upfront with some junk in the trunk. It has a nice mouthfeel, more substantial than some IPAs, not creamy but definitely dreamy. Well balanced and best quaffed chilly cold in a beachside hammock.
Another great Stockyards IPA. Hey Justin Timberlake, it ain’t McDonald’s but I’m lovin’ it.**
