Here is a transcript of my first visit to Thunder Bay.
Me: So where is this famous sleeping giant?
Cab Driver: Right there.
Me: Where?
Cab Driver: Right there, look out your left window.
Me: Where?
Cab Driver: Right there, across the bay, that’s it.
Me: That’s it?
Cab Driver: Yea, that’s it.
Me: Oh, it’s a plateau?
Cab Driver: If you say so.*
But once again I digress. Thunder Bay is a great city, after all it’s got the Sleeping Giant natural wonder and this Northern Logger ale comes from there too.
Nice fresh aroma, and a golden pour as one would expect from a golden or blonde ale. Nice thin white bubbly head. What a great taste! Easy drinking and refreshing. Not hoppy or bitter and still holds a good flavour. Crisp, clear, with a dry finish. Very enjoyable brew. This is the Golden you should be holdin’.** Great job SG brewers.
