Hot day, cold IPA. I’m a poet and I didn’t realize it.
Not an ISA but an IPA, with the 6.5% ABV to prove it. TMA (too many acronyms). Look out, its 6.5%. Nice pour, good looking beer. Frosty glass with a bit of condensation running down the side. A pretty pint for sure.
I enjoyed this IPA while tending to the BBQ.* By the time it was done so were the steaks.
Good tasting IPA. Easy drinking, a bit of bitter but less than many IPAs that’s for sure. Oddly enough it seemed to get more bitter as I finished it, opposite to what I usually experience. It was a very hot day so maybe as the chill wore off the bitter took its place? Not sure what thermodynamic formula calculates cold versus bitter in a beer but the calculation is beyond the capability of my slide ruler. Forget any fancy science, if I drank two of these brewskies and I wouldn’t be able to calculate a tip for the bartender, let alone do any calculus. They have a bit of a kick to them.
Good traditional flavourful and well balanced IPA.
