I did have to cleanse my palette with a Carlsberg first. I am used to drinking out of the can which may explain this less than perfect pour. This flavoured oatmeal stout smells delicious, coffee and chocolate, I can’t wait to have a sip. Ummm. Smooth, delicious with a slightly bitter finish. If I can wait for it to warm just a bit I’m looking for the flavour to evolve.
I held out for 10 minutes, resulting in an even more pronounced deliciousness.
I highly recommend this flavoured brew. Maybe not for everyone but very tasty and full flavoured. R.A.
