Singha, the golden lion.* Not to be confused with Sinha, the lion stout, or the Golden Ale, or the golden ticket, or The Golden Child** for that matter. This golden lion is the original Thai beer, brewed since 1933, a pale lager that received Royal assent.

Did you see a pickup truck go by?
I sampled this regal lager during the hockey game. I watched a commercial for a pickup truck that climbed a shoulder deep snow covered slope of an avalanche warning mountain so steep that the Ibex goats fell off it. This truck not only makes it up the mountain but beats a helicopter to the top! I think I owned that same truck some years ago and it got stuck once in my driveway. Back to reality, that being this beer.
A clear clean golden Thai lion of a pour with a full bright white crown, this brew could be a beer model, beauty pour. A mild malt bread aroma with a touch of bitter & sweet. It tastes light and refreshing with a full traditional malt bread lager flavour and a smooth finish. It is easy drinking with a light mouthfeel. A crushable lager. Very much a pilsner refresh. Pilsner or lager, whatever it is, it tastes great.
