Is it an incomplete education or an uncomplete education? Based on my attendance record there’s a good chance I missed that class. For completeness you can look for a small library and read every book in it, or you can do like I did and sign up for Niagara College’s Beer 101. Back to school has never been so refreshing.*

A text book Vienna
Today’s lesson is on Vienna Lager and NC has my full attention. An amber bordering on sunset red pour, with a head like my chances of passing physics, slim to none. A malt caramel aroma, ambervesence. A clear pour, as Bogie would say “here’s looking through you, kid”.** First taste is smooth malt caramel with a mild back end bitter. Nicely done. As it evolved the crisp dry finishing bitters became more pronounced but this Vienna maintained its balance throughout. Lesson over, glass dismissed.
It seems like life is just one lesson learned after another, *** I just wish they were all this enjoyable.
