For some of us who are up there in years, not elevation, an aerial view is the reception we used to get on the old black and white TV from rabbit ears. Lake of Bays has a different view in mind here. So is the view from the top worth the climb? If there is a nice cold brewski at the top it may well be.
This lagered ale poured a nice golden, a bit hazy with a nice white head at elevation. A crisp fresh aroma. First swig revealed a nice crisp taste, good flavour with a slightly bitter finish.
Just a touch of bitter, not off-putting, it balanced well with the rest of the brew. LoB talk about a honey finish, I didn’t find it, maybe I am just too sweet to start with*. What I found was a refreshing smooth brew with a crisp and slightly bitter finish throughout.
