Helles*, well I’ll be Amster-damned. What kind of a profanity laced brew is this anyway? We usually save the profanity for the review.
“Hell”* of a pour (bright golden), as one would expect, with enough head to reach the rim. Mild malt aroma, not very pronounced. A basic lager with a slightly grainy, metallic taste to start with. It settled down a bit into a traditional blonde lager but not exactly smooth with a bit of an aftertaste. Not really a crisp or hoppy finish, just a bit of bitter. It smoothed out a bit as glass magically drained during the game. An OK lager, an authentic product of its style.
