An Epic Crowd Surf by Iggy
Wes Anfo is an Iggy Pop and Evanescence fan so we know his musical tastes are impeccable. But when it comes to baseball his support of the Detroit Tigers is somewhat questionable. How about how he chooses his brews? His super suds rating of a Clausthaler Original non-alcoholic brew made it an obvious choice for our zero percent experiment. Our zero candidates to date have not knocked it out of the park. Not been the best to say the least. Socks and shoes still on. I think you get the picture.
Clausthaler is certainly a market leader globally when it comes to no booze brews. They brewed the first non-alcoholic beer in the late 70’s and never looked back. After drinking this brew we would encourage you to drive, or operate machinery of any weight, heavy or otherwise. *
A light clear pour, a bright white head, it looks like beer, a good sign. An apple sweet malt pils aroma. The first taste is pilsner apple fruit with a mild crisp and bitter finish, it actually tastes like beer. And not just any beer, it tastes like a pretty good beer. It may come as no surprise that it’s big swigable. Definitely a Pilsner styling, crisp finish with a touch of aftertaste bitters. Uninhibited and uninhabited by the demon alcohol, so it’s doesn’t leave one under the influence.
Wes may not be cheering for the right baseball team, but he’s right on when it comes to this Clausthaler. Our best zero yet.
