Square meals, good idea. Square deals, good idea. Square wheels, bad idea. Unless it’s an IPA from the Town team. Another Town going down, this time their signature IPA, a big deal wheel. It’s a one and done night so no matter how this tasting turns out,* there is no chance of the wheels falling off. And if one does there may be a spare tire handy. Who knows, this one may be wheels up and flying high.
What a beauty pour, hazy orange fair and square, a full head all there. A taste bud kick starter of an aroma, hoppy with a juicy funk in the trunk beside the other spare tire. First taste is a fizzy juicy citrus tropical. A nice full mouthfeel, as I was thirsty so my mouth is full. But it does have a substantial body to it. Mild bitters, the hops are present and now accounted for. Fizz is now past tense, and what a nice juice bitters mix, the tropical mix comes through for me like a mucho macho mango tropical citrus fruit salad. An enjoyable juicer. Our last Town brew was a taste treat too, so Town is on a roll. This square wheel is the real deal.
No need to reinvent the wheel, or retire it for that matter, this one tastes great just the way it is.
