Well, I thought I would never try another Harrowsmith’s again after a harrowing experience with one sometime back. But I see this one is brewed by Spearhead. A dark orange haze pour with a nice head to it. Smells citrusy, you can tell this one has zing. A biting bitter citrusy start. It does have zing. Biting into my tongue with grapefruit and pomelo**, with a bit of a bready musky finish. Definitely a dry finish, unfortunately a slightly tinny taste in the finish too. The zing is still hangin’ in.
It has a foamy mouthfeel, but still a hint of that lemon lime that reminded me of that “not on the level” experience previously mentioned, but definitely an improvement over that one. R.A.
