Cameron relates their strong IPA to the king of the dinosaurs, a huge presence that refuses to be ignored. I think that a T-Rex, with those short arms, would not be too great at telling big fish stories. None of the other dinosaurs would be too impressed with the one that got away. But I digress.
A golden hazy pour, with a thin white head that disappeared much more quickly than the dinosaurs. A hoppy aroma mellowed a bit by fruit.
Just like the aroma, this brew has a good hoppy zing to it mellowed by the fruit. A complex brew, with a kick to it. The second swig had more hops with less fruit, still tasty, just the zing I needed. Nice mouthfeel, some substance to it. As I got more into this beer I start to notice the high ABV, which was mellowing me out. The high ABV does work well with the fruit and zing. A well balanced strong IPA.
