My flight landed right on time and departed early!
The Niagara Brewing Company, at the base of Clifton Hill, is Niagara Falls’ number 1 attraction! Ok, their number 2 attraction. Lactose intolerant visitors beware because Clifton Hill is the cheesiest street in Canada. Ripley’s believe it or don’t, 2 haunted mansions (Frankenstein’s and Dracula’s), Zombie attacks, a Ferris wheel, wax museums, arcades. They have Dinosaur Golf (sounds like the COM AGM) and Wizards Golf (does not sound like the COM AGM). A go cart speedway, ghost blasters (in 3D of course), the strike zone, creepy clown carnival chaos, and umpteen places to eat. Oh, and while you’re there if you can find the time you might want to take a peek at the Falls too.
And if all that is just way too much fun you can tone things down a couple of notches and get married to your maid or mister of the mist at one of the little wedding chapels along the way.* But before you tie the knot maybe you should have a beer first and think a bit about that “till death do you part” bit.* See how I brought us back to the Niagara Brewing Company. Hope this beer is smoother than this segue.

Plaid is all the rage this year.
One beer you could discuss the upcoming nuptials over would be their Irish Red Ale. An amber blush to go with that last minute proposal. An off-white topper, a pro pour for sure. A malty aroma reminiscent of ambers of my past, caramel malt on the nose. First taste is a very nice toffee malt body with a slight bitter dry finish and aftertaste. Frosty cold and going down easy. Well balanced and easy drinking with a nice malt bitters sequence happening. I really liked this one.
This brew provided all the Clifton Hill thrills and chills that I needed. Oh, and the Falls were pretty impressive too.
