“It’s so cold I had to jump start the toaster” one old timer told me the other day. Now that’s cold. Been going through a cold spell recently so it’s hard to picture any new growth but we know it’s coming, just as sure as spring follows winter.

The original independent release. Maybe it’s worth $1 Million dollars?
As far as the art on this can goes, I haven’t quite figured out who this weeping Will is and what has got him so weepy. Or what the cherries, dice, bricks and Dobermans have to do with the price of tea in China. If I had $1 million dollars maybe I would have taken that art appreciation course, then I would have known the difference between a Picasso and a Garfunkel.*
I’ll tell you one thing I do appreciate and that’s a frosty cold one no matter what the weather. And this wily Wellington West Coaster on my coaster may be just the ticket for a smooth ride. Time to tip, taste and tally.
Beauty pour, a golden hue of a brew with a bright white steeped and steep Wellington head to boot. Is there such a thing as a tropical pine tree? Because that’s the aroma emanating from this brewksi. Juice and pine on the nose, and in this case the nose knows. The taste is tropical juice with pine bough bitters and a desert dry finish. A nice sequence, good balance. It has a thin watery mouthfeel and a bit of malt funk in the middle.
It’s all good, not great, but good. Certainly good enough for me.
