Site visit and it’s a Cranky Old Daft draft date. RA, Farmer Steve and I belly up to the beer bar for a bold cold one. Kudos to Adam and team for their service and support of us suds swilling seniors, although to be honest I think it was the bar supporting us. Our cranky old discussion over a frosty froth blow off went from medical procedures to current medications. Quite a range of topics is what you’re probably thinking, and I would have to agree.

MBAA Daft smiling server and sampler.
I had previously had a Daft PC Load Letter tasty taster at the recent MBAA conference but as per the COMDB Guide to Beer Tasting my minimal sampling did not allow for a proper review, so a full pint pour was called for, and received.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Mike Judge comedy classic Office Space, look it up and the ambiguous and frustrating error message PC Load Letter will all be explained, sort of. *
A clear golden tap, with a bright one finger foam head as dense as our Editor. A tropical fruit and hoppy pine kinda aroma happening. Tasting a nice middlin’ citrus tropical juice with a full malt hop body and a fizzy pine bitters finish, nicely balanced. It has consistent light and tasty juice with an ever-present slight pine bitter fizz finish. A nice, tasty brew in a down to earth flamboyance of flamingos fun atmosphere. ** Daft draft deftly done.
