Farmer Steve will be the first to tell you that cheap is good, but not good enough. Cheap beer is good only if the beer is good. The Yup!Beer claim to fame is cheap beer. But good too. Yup!Lite achieved the COMDB Super Suds status seal of approval. Their latest offering is a supermarket stocked pils. We know it’s cheap, time to find out if it has the goods.
Thin steaks require a 5 o’clock somewhere (that being here) easy drinking stubby to time the BBQ for a speed sear. Hoping to avoid the all too often for me scorch, scrape, and serve session. Looks like Yup!Pils is my grill time go to today.
What a pretty pils pour. Light golden and clear with a nice bright white head being the only clouds in the sky. It was so inviting that I passed on the scratch and sniff and went right to first quaff. A nice easy drinking pils with a classic mild malt touch of crisp sequence. Second swig brought out a bit of the old pils mild floral flourish finish. Wait a minute, there is some kind of flying insect doing the backstroke in my brew, but I don’t let it bug me. The 5 second rule applies and it flies again, this time not of it’s own accord. Good to go. Gotta love the great outdoors.

To Soon Gone
Very easy drinking big swig suds from a stubby makes for an early finish. My steaks are barely one side seared, I think the thick one could still walk away on it’s own.
Once again Yup! comes through with a nice basic low cost pilsner brew for the masses. Cheap and good sounds good to me.
