It looks like a hazy day on the farm. And we all know what follows a hot hazy day. A thirsty night, of course. It would seem to me that a juicy IPA might be just the row to hoe when it comes to partaking in a pint after such a day on the farm, or elsewhere for that matter. And so I shall.
According to Cowbell, this IPA has Galaxy, Mosaic, Mandarina and El Dorado hops which have been “aggressively whirl-pool hopped, ferm-hopped, and dry-hopped”. Not Maytag hopped but Whirlpool hopped*? Did they put them in the dishwasher on the Juicy IPA cycle?
An orange golden hazy days pour with a thin white head, looking spiffy. This brew has a fresh aroma light tropical fruit no hops on the nose or any other body part. First swig was a very nice mild tropical fruit with no hops and just a touch of bitter on the backend. Not a typical IPA, very smooth with, no bite or zing. It is refreshing but maybe not what a die-hard IPA drinker would be looking for. Still a nice summer quaff.
