“Just pretend like we’re talking until the cops leave.”
A trip back to Dominion City for their Paper Salesman pale. Is this a tribute to Dunder Mifflin and the self-proclaimed greatest boss in the world perhaps? A toast to everybody’s favourite office romance, Pam and Jim. Or a chance to share another bizarre and yet somehow relatable Creed quote? “ I’ve done a lot more for a lot less.” Nope, nope and nope. This brew has nothing to do with the show The Office * and their priceless paper peddlers.
DC tell us that this brew is “Dedicated to the memory of Don McJannett, a life-long paper salesman whose example endures.” A real life paper salesman and obviously someone who was special to Dominion.
After flying the flag (two in fact) with a Dominion double I had high in the sky hopes for this pale ale. A hazy muted orange pour, an OJ pea souper that I’m hoping is super. An aroma of stone fruit juicy grapefruit hoppiness. The word tasty comes to mind. The taste is in fact tasty. A tropical peachy presentation, juice with hoppiness and bitters on the finish, very nice. I really enjoyed this perfect balance of stone fruit tropical with hops and bitters. The juiciness is just right, not too puree, not too light.
This is paper work I didn’t mind at all.
