A mischevious mallard makes three.
A fireside chat with a duck and it’s double. But after a shake of a duck’s tail when the polaroid was fully developed, I find out another duck photobombed my pic. Three ducks! A mischievous mallard snuck into the frame and there’s nothing I can do about it, I’m outnumbered. I should have had my ducks in a row.
We’ve enjoyed a few Burdock brews, including their Ducks, and since we are on a roll with two super suds in a row it’s time to go double or nothing. Truth be told, I’m not much of a gambler, but I don’t think a Burdock brew is a big gamble, although occasionally a double can be trouble. Let’s see if this kind of trouble is lots of fun.
A very light hazy yellow shades of citrus pours past. As headless as a bat at a Black Sabbath concert.* A very juicy tropical stone fruit thing going on in the aroma department, with a bit of a pine point being made too. First taste is pillowy juice, a bit boozy to start with but not bitter although there’s a bit of a bite there.** It quickly smoothed out nicely after a quaff or deux. Citrus tropical with some mango, very tasty.
Any slight booziness disappeared. You wouldn’t know it was an 8 per center if you didn’t know it was an 8 per center. I really enjoyed this one. There must be a bit of booziness in there somewhere but the great stone fruit tropical citrus mango combo balances it all out. It’s double juicy and double tasty.
I went double or nothing on the brew pic, ended up with three ducks, and when all was said and done, I double downed it.
