My first thought when I saw 360 was I wonder what 5 days of the year we shouldn’t be drinking this brew on and was today one of them? Then I thought “I guess a February 29th is right out.” Then I thought “today is a day, it might as well be the day!”*
Sleeping Giant tell us that this is a blend of American and English Pale Ales. American hops and English yeast. Let’s see if this Roosevelt and Churchill** pairing will win the war again.
It pours a dark golden, almost amber, with a bubbly white head, a very pretty pour. An aroma of English bread malt with a touch of American hops fruit. First tasting was hoppy English bitters with some bread malt with very mild fruit. Not too bitter, not too hoppy, but a bit muddled. Once the bitters faded, what was left intact was the mild fruit and mild hops and mild malt. Tame but not lame, there is a mild theme happening here. A touch more flavour than the session IPAs that this reminds me of.
The graphics on the can suggest a 4 season brew, and I would agree mainly because it’s hard to put a label on it. It tasted good and in the end that’s what counts. I guess today was the day after all.***
