Fast Eddy’s. A river raft run, perhaps? Or a souped-up Edsel. I’d like to think it was Newman’s Oscar nominated role in The Hustler. *

Fast Eddies
Fast Eddie: So why go to college?
Sarah: Got nothing else to do on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Fast Eddie: What do you do on the other days?
Sarah: I drink. **
That Sarah was a College girl after my own heart.
Time to rack ‘em up and break this brew. As Fast Eddie would say, “here we go: fast and loose.”

Fast and loose juice
Our sandbanks sudmasters, Prince Eddy’s , serves up a light and golden, clearly clear beer right on cue. Mild malt aroma. The word light comes to mind. First taste is a watery mouthfeel, malt to lager sweet. No bitters or crisp, just a smooth game ball eight in the end pocket called shot that you can take to the bank finish. It is a smooth stroke, full flavoured but oh so drinkable. Just like Eddie, too fast to last. The sweet stays the course, it’s not quite a honey lager, but it is a honey of a lager. It’s a run the table brewski, a winner.
