Taking into account the current situation and keeping in mind the present state of all things, all those things being equal of course, and with due consideration, when all is said and done, at the end of the day more often than not it’s time for a brew review.*
Market Brewers tell us that when brewing this brew they found themselves using the phrase “given the circumstances” a lot. I don’t find that much of a confidence builder to be honest with you so I wasn’t sure if the Market bruin would take us to the wild wild west (Mae West) or we would be west coasting (Adam West) with this one.
A orange golden bubbly pour, surfs up with a full head of steam. A faint sea breeze of fruits and hops and ….. something indiscernible to the naked nose. A taste will tell. First quaff is mild fruit a bit of fizz not hoppy but a touch of a bitter aftertaste, refreshing. Now that old familiar grapefruit pine bitter has shown itself, a fitting finish for this west coasting tasting. It settles into a mild fruit body with a mild grapefruit piney bitter finish for great refreshing taste. I shouldn’t be surprised when these breweries deliver exactly what they say they will, a Classic West Coast IPA. That’s as refreshing as the brew.

Thanks for taking the time to review and give Given a chance. We definitely were going for that classic West Coast IPA when it was first released in May 2020.
Cheers
