What could be more limey than the lads from Liverpool, the fab four. How about this beer. Past encounters with lime infused and abused brews yielded COMDB dishonorable mentions. Past encounters with hop stomping wineries have been hit and miss. So this limey lager from London Born Wine seemed to be lined up on the wrong side of the review, and I was ready to throw the offside flag regardless of what Mahomes thought.**

Suggested Pairing
A golden slightly hazy recollection of a pour, and about as much head as a glass of wine. There is some lime in the aroma melding with the mild malt. First taste and it’s certainly limey. Lime and mild malt combine, more lime than your run of the mill corona that’s for sure. And I’ll be gobsmacked, it’s getting limier! Blimey that’s limey. Nothing subtle about these citrus suds. I think the body was ok but the lime finish has no hops, no sweet, no zing, no crisp, nothing but lime and more lime all the time.
It is what it is, and what it is, is Limey. Suggested pairing, a delimer.
