A premium pic mosaic of a montage for your brewing pleasure.
Is premium the new norm? I mean we’ve sampled more premiums than Bayer has pills. * Pilsners that are lagers, and lagers that aren’t pilsners, and ales for what ails you. Lights and darks, whites and reds. Canadian, American, Dutch, German, Austrian, Japanese and even an Indian brew to name a few. We’ve had great ones and no so great ones, we even had one from the Great One which we felt was a good one but not a great one.
Dominion City are telling that this “Premium” light lager is, and I quote” Our best yet”. High but not humble self-praise considering some of the DCBC spectacular super suds samplings that have has graced our pages to date. Time to put their lofty claim to the test.
A clear fully golden pour, light on head. It has a full malty aroma. First taste is malty smooth with a full mouthfeel. A mild crips of a fizz on the finish but no bitters. It’s definitely more substantial than most lights. This smooth malter is a big swigger for sure. A very nice full flavoured lager that lives up to its name.
A light beer that tastes like beer beer. I don’t think this beer knows it’s a light, and that’s quite alright with me.
